I learned that there are alot more homless people than i really could even imagine. i thought this article was very heartfelt beacause the man filming was once in the homeless position. There are a lot of tradgeties out there but i think that being homeless would be one of the worst conditions that there is, no home, no family, no love, i dont think i could take it. If there was one thing that i think is the most dreadfull thing of all i think its not haveing a family or home to celebrate christmas with. The way the director expressed the pain and suffering that the homeless went through was enough to really touch my heart.

I’ve seen #1 and #3, i liked letters from iwo jima, its a good movie, its the japanese version of the american movie about iwo jima. I had seen both movies and they contrasted fairly well. I didnt really like no country for old men, and dont really remember it. i would like to see FOG OF WAR, and… DIVINE INTERVENTION, because they sound the most interesting.

Pick one of the three people.  Do you think they were wired that way (genetics)? Or was it brought on socially?  Or was it their upbringing?  Which of the three people do you think was the worst and why?

I picked Kevin Ray Underwood. I think he abducted, killed and raped and child because of a combination of his genetics, upbringing and society. He probably was a secretive, rebellious type of person. He would of got this from his genes. His parents probably didn’t teach him right from wrong well enough so his upbringing contributes as well. Because society condemns these types of things he probably wanted to do it even more. Of course, the society cannot change or else murderers will walk free. I think Kevin Ray Underwood was the worst.

Someone started a group telling people to “hit a prep”. It targeted people who were certain types of clothing. I think this is stupid and if people just leave each other alone the entire world would be better off.

Blog #62 – What did you think of the movie Antitrust? (3-4 sentences).  What cyber crime did the movie deal with?

I thought it was interesting. It had a pro open source message. I like this because it will let more people know about open source. The (cyber) crime that was dealt with was the stealing of other peoples code. The people NURV stole from were actually murdered as well so it wasn’t just a cyber crime.

Blog #61 – What did you learn from our guest speaker Mark Yemin? 4-5 sentences.

I wasn’t there but I assume he talked about piracy. This is the illegal downloading of any files that you normally have to pay for to obtain. In reality, most people pirate things that they would not buy anyways. This means the company would probably still be making about the same amount of money. I think that if you pirate something that you enjoy using/playing/listening to quite often and it is at an affordable price then you should buy it. Hopefully this sends companies the message that they need to lower their prices.

The longest day of the year is June 1st. Sunrise is at 4:30 AM, sunset is at 11:00 PM.  The shortest day of the year is Dec. 21st. Sunrise is at 9:00 AM, sunset is at 5:00 PM.
